Alain Pérez - Pero no termino

This young Cuban bassist, percussionist, pianist, singer, composer, arranger and producer has links to the jazz scene and an extensive discography. His talent has allowed him to work with Cuban ensembles and musicians such as Irakere, Van Van, Isaac Delgado and his group, Paquito de Rivera, Celia Cruz and Javier Masó "Caramelo".

Alain has spent most of his career in Madrid, where he has been adopted by flamenco legends such as Enrique Morente, Paco de Lucía, Diego "El Cigala", Niño Josele and Javier Limón. In 2002, he was awarded the SGAE’s First Prize for Latin Jazz, and he has produced albums for Celia Cruz and Habana Abierta.

In 2010 he published his first album Apetecible, where he presents a fusion of diverse musical styles with roots in various genres – bolero, guaracha, chachachá, mambo, funk, rock, soul – with hints of jazz and flamenco.
